An Evening of History with Town Archivist Richard Trask

Archivist to discuss his favorite topics over the past 50 years

History can be fun and interesting. Would you like to discuss JFK or perhaps witchcraft hysteria? On Thursday, May 17th, 7:00 - 8:30pm at Tapley Memorial Hall, 13 Page Street you can do all that and more.
Town Archivist, Richard Trask, will conduct an open forum to discuss his favorite topics over the past 50 years: Local History, Witchcraft Hysteria, John F. Kennedy, and Local Architecture. Learn about such varied things as the filming of "Three Sovereigns for Sarah" and the photographing of N H Presidential Primaries to mention just a few. Bring your questions for a lively discussion! The event is FREE but the Danvers Historical Society hopes you will not walk past the donation box without dropping something in to help with their mission of education and preservation. Reservations are appreciated to help with hall set up but not required. RSVP to 978.777.1666 or E-mail to dhs@danvershistory.org .
