Family Fishing This Weekend In Danvers
Seasoned pro or just learning, the free event is open to all ages and abilities.
DANVERS – Looking for something to do this Father's Day weekend? Grab a fishing pole and head on down to Endicott Park this Saturday, June 18th, between 10am and 1pm for the annual Fishing Festival.Â
This festival is cosponsored by the MassWildlife Angler Education Program and Danvers Recreation. This isn't a competitive event so no need to come with your game face ready. This is a family friendly, learn to fish event. Attendees are welcome to bring their own your fishing equipment, or borrow some onsite.  Limited equipment and bait will be provided.Â
The event is free and open to the public, but all visitors are subject to a $1 resident vehicle or $3 non-resident vehicle user fee. For more information, please contact Christine Dean at (978) 774-6518 or Jim Lagacy at (508) 389-6309 or jim.lagacy@state.ma.us.
