Firearms Licensing, Bullying Talk and Holiday Craft Fairs This Week

Here's what you need to know in Danvers for this week.

Today is Monday, Nov. 4. Here's a look at the week ahead in Danvers.

  1. Town Boards: The Zoning Board of Appeals meets Monday (7 p.m.) at Town Hall, while the Board of Selectmen meets Tuesday (7 p.m.) and the Board of Health meets Thursday (7 p.m.). You can find the rest of the schedule of town meetings this week online here.
  2. Robin D'Antona, a nationally certified trainer of the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program, will be speaking to parents at Holten-Richmond Middle School on Wednesday.
  3. The Police Department is scheduled to conduct its next firearms licensing day on Thursday from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. Appointments aren't necessary, but check here for more information.
  4. A representative from state Sen. Joan Lovely's office will be back at Town Hall Friday morning for constituent office hours.
  5. The grand opening for the Danvers Art Association's holiday craft fair, "Arts-a-Glow," is this Friday.
  6. How about a local family cabaret style variety show Friday night? That's what's going on at Tapley Hall.
  7. All Saints Episcopal Church of the North Shore holds its annual holiday craft fair and vendors expo on Saturday.
