Hometown Diner In Danvers Will Not Reopen Due To Coronavirus
Owner Joseph Bucchiere posted on the diner's social media that it will not reopen after three years serving breakfast and lunch in town.

DANVERS, MA — The Hometown Diner in Danvers appears to be the latest small business lost to the coronavirus health crisis after owner Joseph Bucchiere cited the pandemic in his decision not to reopen the breakfast and lunch spot.
Bucchiere posted on the diner's Facebook account: "I extend my sincere thanks to all my loyal customers who have supported me for the last three years. Due to COVID-19, I will not be opening back up. Thank you all."
The Liberty Street location promoted itself on its website as "the place to meet with friends for fresh brewed coffee, breakfast or lunch."
