Host Families Needed for Exchange Students

North Shore families can host students from Spain for four weeks as part of an international exchange.

DANVERS – Families in the North Shore area are needed to host exchange students from Spain for four weeks, beginning at the end of June.

The Worldwide International Student Exchange, a non-profit organization, is looking for 30 families from the following towns to host the students: Danvers, Hamilton-Wenham, Beverly, Middleton, Topsfield, Salem and Peabody.

The program starts June 27 and lasts through July 23. The students, who will take classes at Danvers High School, are between the ages of 14 and 18.

Each day students will take English classes and attend field trips between the hours of 9am and 5pm. They will come prepared with their own spending money.

All exchange students speak English and having children is not a requirement for host families.
