Obituary: William J. Brennan; Avid Boston Sports Fan, he Was a Great Red Sox Fan

Mr. Brennan was employed in sales most of his life.

William J. Brennan, 77, died Sunday morning, September 20, 2015 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House surrounded by his beloved family. He was the loving husband of Claire J. (Frisone) Brennan, with whom he shared 56 years of marriage.

Born in Lynn on Feb. 5, 1938, he was the son of the late Harold and Catherine (Leonard) Brennan. He was raised and educated in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School.

A Danvers resident since 1972, Mr. Brennan was employed in sales most of his life. An avid Boston sports fan, he was a great Red Sox fan.

In addition to his wife, he leaves two children, Lisa Brennan of Peabody and Michael Brennan and his wife Sequoyah of Somerville, his siblings, Robert Brennan of Peabody, Ann Mucci of Lynnfield, and Joseph Brennan and Mary Padgett, both of Florida, and many nieces and nephews.
