Parade of Trees Festival, a Great Way to Start the Holiday
Six days of festive holiday trees and wreaths and various daily entertainment events make this years Parade of Trees the best ever.

The tenth annual Parade of Trees will be held Tuesday, Nov. 27, through Sunday, Dec. 2, at Tapley Hall, 13 Page St., Danvers. View creatively-decorated faux trees and wreaths crafted and donated by local businesses, organizations and families. On Tuesday, Nov. 27 all donors are honored with a preview party from 6-8 pm. which includes delicious food by Daniella’s Café and music from pianist Darren Muise. General admission is $15 for all non Parade donors. Open viewing hours when raffle tickets will be sold are from 1 to 8 pm. Wednesday thru Friday, Saturday from 10:00 am to 8 pm, Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 pm. Each day features a special event. Admission is free but guests may like to bring nonperishable food items to benefit the Danvers Food Pantry. All trees and wreaths will be raffled off. Raffle tickets are 10 for $10, and 25 for $20. Senior Appreciation Day, featuring refreshments and live acoustic music, will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 28, from 1 to 3 p.m. Open Mic Night will be held that same day from 7 to 9 p.m. A “Polar Express” party for children will be held on Thursday, Nov. 29 at 6:30 p.m. Children are encouraged to come in pajamas to enjoy the reading, receive a small holiday gift and enjoy hot chocolate. Friday, Nov. 30 the featured event is the appearance of Danvers High School Falconize A Cappella choir from 4 - 6:00 pm. This talented group has been selected to perform at the inaugural International A Cappella Festival in Pamplona, Spain! Donations to help send Falconize to Spain are encouraged. Saturday, Dec. 1 student musicians from Music Connection School will be performing from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2 is a delicious day to visit as Good Lickin’ Old Fashioned Ice Cream Parlor's Ice Cream Social will take place 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Winning raffle tickets will be drawn at 3:15. This Danvers Historical Society fund raiser is a great way to start the holiday season.
