Woman Found Dead In Car Parked On Danvers Street

The Essex County District Attorney's Office said foul play is not suspected.

DANVERS, MA — A 69-year-old woman was found dead in a car on Dayton Street in Danvers early Wednesday morning.

Carrie Kimball, a spokesperson for the Essex County District Attorney's Office, said police were called to the scene around 4:56 a.m. Wednesday. Foul play is not suspected, Kimball said.

Police blocked off Dayton Street near the Hogan Regional Center for several hours as part of the investigation. Neighbors posting on social media said the street was closed off since before 5 a.m.
