Police Shut Down Danvers Arcade During Investigation

The arcade at the Liberty Tree Mall was one of two Lucky 7 arcades recently shut down.

Police shut down the arcade at the Liberty Tree Mall in connnection with an effort by Attorney General Martha Coakley to police internet cafes and the sort that allow people to gamble online. 

The arcade at the Liberty Tree Mall is owned by Lucky 7, which owns another arcade in Gloucester, which was also shut down. 

“They’re saying illegally gambling, but they’re not telling us a whole lot,” said Janine Parisi who runs the Gloucester arcade.
