Power Of Internships For North Shore Businesses
The North Shore Chamber of Commerce will host an internship virtual seminar for businesses on April 7.
DANVERS, MA — The importance of internships for both businesses and students will be the topic of the next North Shore Chamber of Commerce virtual Business Insight Forum.
"The Power of Internships: What's Best for Your Business and Our Students" will be April 7 from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. via Zoom.
North Shore Chamber of Commerce Chairman Darren Ambler, principal at OneDigital Health & Benefits, will lead the webinar, which is set to cover everything a business needs to know about adding interns to their team, including how to attract the right candidates and the legal regulations involved in their employment.

Panelists include Dr. Raminder Luther, interim Dean of the Bertolon School of Business at Salem State University, who will speak on the educational benefits of internships.
Chris Tuttle, president and chief executive officer of Bridgewell, will discuss the advantages of internships from a business standpoint.

Patrick J. Heffernan, a litigation associate at Tinti & Navins, P.C., in Salem, will be speaking on internships from a legal standpoint.
