Reports of Shoplifters and Assaults
The following information was provided by the Danvers Police Department. Where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following are excerpts from the Danvers Police Department press log from Oct. 29-30.
Tuesday, Oct. 29
- 4:44 a.m. Report of a motor vehicle hit-and-run accident at the Gulf Express on Route 114.
- 8:47 a.m. Salvatore Amaru, 31, of Medford, was arrested, following a report of a car break-in at PetSmart. Police said a memory card and a debit card were stolen.
- 11:43 a.m. Floranne Dailey, 62, of 91 Hale St., Beverly, was arrested, following a report of a shoplifter at Market Basket. She was charged with one count of shoplifting by asportation.
- 12:55 p.m. Report of a motor vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of Route 114 and Brooksby Village Drive.
- 2:12 p.m. Report of a larceny at Ira Toyota on Route 114.
- 2:17 p.m. Police issued a court summons following a report of a shoplifting at Walmart.
- 2:55 p.m. Report of a motor vehicle accident with injuries near Ira Lexus on Route 114.
- 6:07 p.m. Report of a female shoplifter at Walmart.
- 7:44 p.m. Robert Sentas, 26, of 35 Perry Ave., Lynnfield, was arrested on a warrant at the McDonald's on High Street. Police said it was a courtesy booking.
- 9:53 p.m. Daniel S. Bodek, 48, of 27 Taft Ave., Beverly, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol, following a motor vehicle accident on Bridge Street. See related story.
Wednesday, Oct. 30
- 7:19 a.m. A Lynn resident was arrested at Motel 6 on a warrant.
- 8:36 a.m. Report of an assault involving two male coworkers at the Sunoco gas station on Route 114.
- 2:04 p.m. Report of an assault at an office building on Hutchinson Drive.
- 3:11 p.m. Report of a theft from a car at St. Mary of the Annunciation School. Police said a purse was stolen.
