Retired Danvers Patrolman Given Flag that Flew in Afghanistan

Air Force Senior Master Sgt. Scott Moody recently aided in bringing retiring Danvers Patrolman Jim George a flag that was flew in Afghanistan in honor of his duty. 

Many were around recently when the flag was flown including Town Manager Wayne Marquis. 

”This flag represents our dedication and steadfast devotion to duty in the fight of global terror and the vindication of the thousands of innocents who perished during the World Trade Center and Pentagon attacks on Sept. 11, 2001,” said Marquis.
