DANVERS, MA – The official hours for Trick or Treating in Danvers are on Halloween from 5 to 8 p.m., and Danvers Police offers these safety tips to children and parents:
- Young children should be accompanied by an adult or a responsible teen
- Parents should examine candy at home before children eat it
- Check wrappers, and throw away candy that has been opened
- Make sure costumes fit properly, and that children can see well
- Consider using face paint instead of masks
- Wear light colored clothing or reflective tape
