Shoplifters and an 'Inappropriate Sign'

The following are excerpts from the Danvers Police Department press log from Nov. 2-4.
Saturday, Nov. 2
- 12:14 a.m. Report of an intoxicated person walking in the road on Maple Street. An 18-year-old Beverly male was placed in protective custody.
- 2:36 a.m. Kevin McCaffrey, 38, of North Andover, was arrested, following a motor vehicle stop on Route 114 at Buxton Road. He was charged with failure to stop and driving with a revoked license (subsequent offense).
- 1:16 p.m. Report of a theft of a cell phone at Target.
- 2:33 p.m. Report of a motor vehicle hit-and-run accident at Danvers High School.
- 3:11 p.m. Report of a motor vehicle hit-and-run accident at Market Basket.
- 4:33 p.m. Report of a shoplifting at Walmart.
- 5:22 p.m. Report of a stolen cell phone at the Liberty Tree Mall.
- 6:16 p.m. Report of a past shoplifting at Walmart.
Sunday, Nov. 3
- 10:26 a.m. Report of threats being made at Buffalo Wild Wings. Police said the threats were related involved the property.
- 1:44 p.m. Report of a larceny at Twin Oaks Nursing Home. Police said $5 was reportedly stolen from a patient.
- 1:50 p.m. Report of a shoplifting at Walmart involving cosmetics. Police issued a court summons.
- 6:58 p.m. Report of a car off the road on Route 1 with injuries. State police handled the scene.
- 11:16 p.m. Marlon Dichiara, 24, was arrested on a warrant at the Walgreens on High Street.
Monday, Nov. 4
- 8:49 a.m. Police received a call about an inappropriate sign at the corner of Armory Road and Dayton Street.
- 10:09 a.m. Report of an erratic driver who made a U-turn at the ramp with Route 128 South and High Street.
