Smoke May Be In The Air On Maple Street In Danvers
The Danvers Fire Department will have a large presence during training at the old Hotwatt building in upcoming weeks.
DANVERS, MA — The Danvers Fire Department wants residents in the area of Maple Street to know not to be concerned if they see a little smoke in the air over the next few weeks.
Danvers fire will be conducting training exercises at the old Hotwatt building at 128 Maple Street that may include some simulated smoke. The department said residents can expected large apparatus presence in the area at times — and not to be alarmed.
"The property owner has generously offered us this training opportunity," Danvers fire said.
