St. John's Beats Rival CM For Division 1 Football Crown
Senior captain Wes Rockett had three touchdowns and 189 yards on nine catches in the 40-22 win.
DANVERS, MA -- St. John's Prep won its first football state championship since the MIAA switched to its current playoff format in 2013. Prep defeated rival Catholic Memorial 40-22 in the Division 1 State Championship game at Gillette Stadium Saturday night. Senior captain Wes Rocket had nine catches for 189 yards and three touchdowns for St. John's (10-2).
