Theft of Gas From Car and Person Reportedly Making Threats With Knife

The following excerpts are from reports in the Danvers Police Department press log from Oct. 24-25.

Thursday, Oct. 24

  • 5:48 a.m. Report of fraud from a Poplar Street resident.
  • 9:59 a.m. Report of a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Route 114.
  • 11:33 a.m. An officer responded to the Chism family's home on Riverside Street on a report of trespassing and spoke to a person there.

Friday, Oct. 25

  • 4:49 a.m. Police officers were on duty at the high school for crowd control and to keep the peace. It was the first day back at school for staff and students.
  • 8:06 a.m. An officer responded to the Chism's home on Riverside Street due to a complaint about news-people on the property.
  • 9:42 a.m. Report of a theft of gasoline from a vehicle at Acculab at Cherry Hill Drive.
  • 10:16 a.m. Report of a person trespassing at the Chism home.
  • 8:31 p.m.  Report of a female shoplifter at Walmart.
  • 9:33 p.m. Report of a person making threats with a knife at Connors Farm.
  • 10:34 p.m. Report of an assault at Connors Farm.
  • 11:42 p.m. Report of a two-car accident with injuries on High Street.
