Tips for Coping with Complicated Grief from Care Dimensions
Danvers Community Access TV program, "Timing is Everything" provides education, tips on end-of-life care and grief support.
Mary Crowe, LICSW, ACHP-SW, Director of Professional and Community Education at Care Dimensions, hosts a public-access television program, “Timing is Everything” produced and broadcast at Danvers Community Access TV.
The Care Dimensions TV program offers education and knowledge around end-of-life care, grief support and advance care planning.
In the October/November 2019 episode of “Timing is Everything,” Mary interviews Care Dimensions Bereavement Coordinator Laurel Mauroy, LICSW on the topic of complicated grief.

Complicated grief is a disruption in the grieving process that causes maladaptive coping and behaviors. Complicated grief due to a death can happen to anyone. Contributing factors could be timing, circumstances surrounding the death or loss, quality of the relationship, age of the individual, and other stressors.

The “Timing is Everything” Public Access TV Show is a program of the Care Dimensions Learning Institute.
Founded in 1978, Care Dimensions is the largest hospice provider in Massachusetts. The non-profit organization provides hospice care, palliative care and support services to individuals, families and children in 95 Massachusetts communities.
The program on dealing with complicated grief will air on Danvers Community Access TV at the following dates and times:

- October 26, 11:30 a.m.
- October 27, 3:30 p.m.
- October 29, 12:00 p.m.
- November 1, 8:00 p.m.
