Water Main Break Causes Discoloration In Danvers
Danvers town officials said the water main break is causing a disturbance in the system and brown water for some residents.
DANVERS, MA — Danvers officials issued a "water notice" early Monday afternoon after a water main break caused discolored water to some residents.
"Due to maintenance and a water main break," the town said, "there is a disturbance in the water system causing brown water."
Residents were advised about noon to "wait a couple of hours" and then run cold water at the "highest point in the home" to resolve the discoloration.
