Widespread Flooding As Rain Moves Off Shore
The New Hampshire and the northeast Massachusetts coasts were under flood watches, but problems were scattered throughout the region.
DANVERS, MA — Forecasters expect Saturday's rainstorm to move offshore late Saturday afternoon, leaving behind widespread flooding and flood watches. Morrissey Boulevard in Boston was closed for part of Saturday afternoon, thanks to the heavy rain, and most Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire communities were reporting an inch or more of rain since the storm started Friday evening.
