5 Things: Dedham 10's and Girl's 12U Team Make Finals and More

Today's Weather: Today there will be chance of rain. Otherwise cloudy, with a high near 70. For tonight, rain is likely with a low around 62, according to The National Weather Service.

1. The Dedham 10's advanced to the Cal Ripken 10-year-old New England Championship game.  They will be facing Newtown, CT at 5 p.m. at 135 Gansett Ave. Cranston, RI.
2. Dedham Girls Softball 12U team has also advanced to the finals after beating Wrentham 7-6.  They will be playing Franklin in Plainville at 6 p.m. tonight.
3. Dedham Cubscouts Pack 2 invites boys going into grade 1 thru grade 5 to an open house event at the Endicott Estate at 6 p.m.. You do not have to be a cubscout to come but they will offer an opportunity the sign-up anyone who wants to join.
