5 Things to Know: May 10, Book Launch Party, Concert at Paradise and More

1. Whole Foods Market, 300 Legacy Pl. in Dedham, will have a free Stories and Snacks event at 10:30 a.m.  Kids of all ages are welcome.

2. Meet children's author Jarrett "Lunch Lady" Krosoczka at Blue Bunny Books and Toys, 577 High St. in Dedham, at 4 p.m.  The Blue Bunny will be hosting Jarrett’s launch party for his new middle grade novel PLATYPUS POLICE SQUAD.

3. PathFinders, 269 Common St. in Dedham, will have a Teen Science Club at 5 p.m.  It costs $40 to register.

4. The Dedham Community House, 671 High St. in Dedham, will have a Boot Camp: Karate for Beginners class at 5:30 p.m.  The class costs $102 to join.

5. And Phil Burr & Geoff Valentine will perform a free concert at Paradise Cafe, 565 High St. in Dedham, at 8 p.m.
