Commission On Disability Launches Summer Camp Grant Program In Dedham
The deadline to apply for the grant in June 1, 2021. All applications & application materials will be treated by Commission as confidential.

The Dedham Commission on Disability has established a summer camp grant program offering two grants for families who face costs relating to sending a child with a disability to summer camp. Each grant will be awarded in the amount of $1,000 to a qualifying camper who meets the following criteria:

- Between the ages of 3-18;
- Has a documented physical, intellectual, or developmental disability;
- Has demonstrated financial need; and
- Has identified a camp that meets the needs of this individual.
The funds may be used to:
a) cover all or part of the camp’s registration fee or tuition,

b) cover all or part of the cost of a qualified aide who will be attending the camp with the child as their individual support person, or
c) cover all or part of the cost of adaptive equipment or required modifications at the camp.
