Dedham Brothers Win Prestigious Award for "Must-Read" Picture Book

Two brothers, from Dedham, were recently honored with a 2015 Massachusetts Book Award for a children’s picture book titled “Going Places.”

Each year, the program receives hundreds of submissions. The Mass. Center for the Book staff, working in partnership with reading advisors and judges from the library community, develop a list of “Must-Read” books and name the award winners.

Peter and Paul Reynolds authored Going Places, a 40-page book about a go-cart contest that inspires imagination to take flight.

The Mass. Book Awards is the largest state book awards program in the country. The two brothers will be honored at an awards ceremony in January.
