Dedham Chocolate Store Offers New Unique Holiday Truffle

A new truffle hit the shelves of Chocolate Therapy at Dedham’s Legacy Place.

Owners Pam and David Griffin will now offer the Sweet Potato Truffle, a sweet treat filled with roasted sweet potatoes, pumpkin pie spices and white chocolate, and covered in dark chocolate.

The truffles are created at Chocolate Therapy’s Framingham location.

Carol Arnold, a spokesperson for Chocolate Therapy said the new truffles are made with less sugar, antioxidants and rich ingredients.

“They wanted to create something that was an alternative to the conventional holiday desserts,” Arnold said.  “Something that would be a little healthier, smaller portions, but still with the same flavors.”

The truffles can be bought individually or in boxes of four, six, eight or 10.
