Dedham Firefighter Injured After Elevator Shaft Fall At CVS Fire
The firefighter was hospitalized with minor injuries.
DEDHAM, MA — A Dedham firefighter was injured while responding to a call on Sunday morning at the CVS on Providence Highway near Legacy Place.
A two-alarm fire was called in from the CVS located at 947 Providence Highway. A Dedham firefighter fell down an elevator shaft 15 feet, according to the Boston Globe. The firefighter was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Fire crews from several departments responded, including Norwood, Boston, Westwood, Needham and Quincy.
