Dedham Firefighters Knock Down Blaze in Elevator Machine Room

The Dedham Fire Department responded to a fire in the elevator machine room of 980 Washington Street on Sunday afternoon.

Firefighters from engine two, engine four , ladder one, car two and the Westwood Department quickly responded and knocked down the blaze by 1:45 p.m., according to the Department’s Facebook page.
