Video students at Dedham High school took home one win and two honorable mentions at the Student Emmy Awards.

DEDHAM, MA — Video students at Dedham High school took home one win and two honorable mentions at the Student Emmy Awards.

The Boston/New England Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences presents these awards annually and are a part of the same professional organization that runs the Emmys.

The awards were announced online on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 with a special message from Chapter president Danielle Mannion and Boston 25 News anchor Daniel Miller.

The student production awards are typically presented during the annual "Lights, Camera, Action: Television and Film Conference" at Millis High School, but due to the new coronavirus outbreak, the conference and awards ceremony were canceled this year.
