Dedham July 4th Nearby Fireworks: 2019 Guide

DEDHAM, MA — July 4th is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you this Independence Day. We gathered up all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening around Dedham so you can start planning now.

Here's what's in store this July 4th for fireworks and festivities near Dedham:

Canton

What: Fireworks, Food, Face Painting, More

Where: Irish Cultural Centre, located at 200 New Boston Dr.

When: Festivities start at 6 p.m. Fireworks shoot off at 9 p.m.

The fun starts at the Irish Cultural Centre at 6 p.m., where there will be inflatables, face painting and airbrush tattoos for kids. Live music starts at 7 p.m., followed by the fireworks display at 9 p.m.

Food and beverage will be available for purchase. No coolers are allowed. Attendees should be prepared to have their bags checked upon arrival.

Brookline

Brookline doesn't set off fireworks, but if you want to see the Boston fireworks, check out Cory Hill Park or the top of Larz Anderson. But get there early to find a good spot. In recent years the trees have obstructed some of the view from Cory Hill Park, but you can still glimpse a bit of them.

Boston's fireworks start at 10 p.m. on the Esplanade.

Newton

Head to the Ablemarle Field - Halloran Sports Complex at 9 p.m., July 4 to catch some fireworks. For the past 30 years Newton Community Pride has sponsored the July 4 festivities for the city. They're able to do so with the help of sponsorships and individual contributions so that the event is free. If you'd like to help keep it going head over to their website.
