21 7th and 8th graders from Dedham Middle School's Spanish class were able to take an eight day trip to Costa Rica.
Some of the highlights included:
- Visiting Poás, an active volcano
- Swimming in hot springs at Arenal Volcano
- Zip lining and hiking through the Monteverde Cloud Forest
- Learning how to cook traditional Costa Rican food
- Learning two traditional Costa Rican dances
- Hiking in the rainforest
- And Visiting a Costa Rican school - the school is called La Escuela Lider Julieta de Parrita.
