Dedham PD Find And Arrest Assault Suspect

DEDHAM, MA — After a week of looking for him and asking for the public's help, Dedham police announced they found and arrested a man suspected of assaulting a child.

Police said a 40-year-old man from Hyde Park was taken into custody and charged with indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 and lewd and lascivious conduct.

The assault was reported around 5 p.m. on Aug. 5 on High Street. Police shared surveillance photos from the area to try to identify the man.
