Dedham Armed Robbery Involved A Machete In A Hooters Parking Lot
Police are looking for two people suspected of robbing a man using a machete and another object.
DEDHAM, MA — Dedham police are investigating an armed robbery that happened in the Hooters parking lot on Monday night.
The robbery happened in the parking lot next to the Hooters on Providence Highway just before midnight. Two men approached the victim, another man, in the parking lot and demanded money, police said. One of the men assaulted the victim with a machete — the second pressed an object against the victim's back and took money from him, police said.
No injuries were reported.

Police are not sure what the second object was. One other person witnessed the robbery.
The two men left the area in a dark Acura sedan. Anyone with information about this incident should call Dedham police at 718-326-1212.
