Dedham Police Roll Out Autism Patch Program
The department is selling limited edition patches to support Autism Awareness month.
DEDHAM, MA — Dedham police have rolled out the Police Autism Patch Program.
The special Autism awareness patch was designed to increase awareness and acceptance of Autism. Patches are $10 each and benefit the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism. The Flutie Foundation reinvests contributions into safety programs focused on keeping people and families affected by Autism safe in their community.
The Autism Awareness patch is a recurring program the department participates in each month.
