Dedham Public Library Updates
Even though the Dedham Publc Library is closed, there are a number of ways to utilize the library and its resources from home.

The Dedham Public Library is here for you! We know that during these uncertain times it’s difficult to have your library’s doors closed, that’s why we’ve worked hard to bring the library to you!
Here are a few highlights:
- The library has added Creativebug as a database which offers access to thousands of videos and tutorials related to arts, crafts, DIYs, cooking, and more.
- Ancestry.com is now available from home. Use your library card and start searching millions of National Archives records today.
- Program videos are shared on the DPL Facebook page everyday; programs range from storytimes (including a chapter book read aloud!), journaling, arts and crafts, cooking/baking, and even hair care videos!
- The Library has increased the availability of audiobooks, e-books, and movies available through Overdrive/Libby, Hoopla, and Kanopy.
- The Minuteman Library Network has extended due dates for all items through June 30. At this time book drops at the Dedham Public Library are closed, please hold on to all items until further notice.
Links to the resources listed above as well as other important links can be found at dedhamlibrary.com. Though the Dedham Public Library is closed, staff are working from home, if you have any questions about library services or your account please email dedhamissue@minlib.net and a staff member will be happy to help you!
