Man Found Dead Near Providence Highway

DEDHAM, MA — A man was found dead in the woods off of Route 1 in Dedham on Monday afternoon.

Dedham and state police are at 205 Providence Highway along with the Norfolk County District attorney after a body was found near 205 Providence Highway.

The man was found in a wooded area near the Charles River across from the Ocean State Job Lot, WHDH reported.

A spokesperson for the Norfolk County district Attorney's Office said the man was found in a wooded area where he may have been living — there were no obvious signs of foul play at the scene.

While the discovery may be unsettling, Norfolk County DA spokesperson David Traub said it is not a completely uncommon occurrence around this time.
