James Joyce Ramble Happening This Weekend

Dedham's famous James Joyce Ramble, celebrating 30 years on April 28, will also be the host for the American Masters 10K Championship drawing the best running talent from all over the country.

 

The James Joyce Ramble has been a regional Championship for the active New England running association for several years, but this is the first time that the Ramble will be a nationally recognized event.

“Our continuing success is a testament to the hard work of the organizing committee, support of local business and wide community support", organizer Martin Hanley said.

This year the run will host the American Masters 10K Championship.  But the last day to register will be on April 24 before their website disables the feature on April 25.

The first pick-up for runners (once registered) will happen on April 26 from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Legacy Place.  The second pick-up will take place on April 27 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at The Endicott Estate.

The race will begin on April 28 promptly at 11 a.m. on East Street, one block south of The Endicotte Estate at Boulevard St.  Click here to see the full course map.
