The keystone parking lot in Dedham Square is still closed to the public because the asphalt hasn't been able to dry due to the extreme temperatures.
Selectman Paul Reynolds said on his Facebook page that the asphalt is still "extremely hot and tacky" and vehicle access could damage the top course of the lot.Â
"Parking lots are unlike roadways where there is constant turning of tires in a near stopped condition that could damage the asphalt," Selectman Reynolds said.
