L.L. Bean Announces Free Outdoor Adventures In Dedham And Boston

DEDHAM, MA — In an effort to get people outside this summer, L.L. Bean is offering complimentary courses through its Outdoor Discovery Program June 28 through July 11.

Sponsored by Mastercard, the Discovery Program's usual $30 courses are now going to be free of charge while space is available.

Some of the complimentary courses include archery, stand-up paddle boarding, and kayaking around the Boston and Dedham area.

The idea behind the courses is to create a fun and easy way to introduce new outdoor adventures led by experts so people unfamiliar with these activities can do them safely.

“Our company’s purpose has always been to help people experience the restorative benefits of time spent outside, and our Outdoor Discovery courses are one of the many ways we do just that,” said Nicholas Wilkoff, Chief Marketing Officer for L.L.Bean.

Starting June 20, outdoor enthusiasts of all skill levels can sign up for these free courses through June 27 while space is available on llbean.com/adventure.
