Last Week For Dedham Businesses To Apply For Coronavirus Grants

DEDHAM, MA — This is the last week for Dedham's small businesses owners to apply for a COVID-19 relief grant.

Dedham small business owners are eligible for grants up to $10,000 to redress business losses caused by the pandemic. The federal funding is meant to assist micro -enterprises owned by Dedham residents. These are grants, not loans.

Only micro-enterprises are eligible for the grant, which means a business that has five or fewer employees and is owned by one of the employees. The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. on Friday.

Grants should be distributed in October. Eligible applicants will be entered into a lottery and grants awarded until funding is expended. Dedham was allotted $280,500 in federal funding for the program.
