Reema Shrestha Appointed to City Kids Board of Directors
CRG Executive VP to serve nonprofit organization providing educational resources for Boston youth

City Kids is pleased to announce the appointment of City Realty Group (CRG) Executive Vice President Reema Shrestha of Dedham as a new board member. During her 15 years working at CRG, Shrestha has demonstrated a strong commitment to giving back and is a longtime volunteer for City Kids and other community-focused initiatives. City Kids is a nonprofit youth education support program founded by CRG Managing Partners Fred Starikov and Stephen Whalen to provide underserved Boston youth with technologies and resources to spark their intellectual curiosity.
Reema Shrestha brings significant experience and diverse perspective to her new leadership position at City Kids. Born in Nepal, Shrestha arrived in the U.S. in 2005 and was hired at CRG the following year as a Front Desk Associate. She simultaneously attended Northeastern University, graduating in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration & Management. CRG sponsored Shrestha in her efforts to obtain a work visa, a very difficult and expensive process. Shrestha went on to achieve success in various positions at CRG, moving up the ladder until recently being promoted to Executive Vice President last July.
“For more than a decade, Reema has been an indispensable member of our team,” said Whalen. “Reema’s extraordinary work ethic and leadership skills will help guide City Kids into the future as we continue working to bridge the opportunity gap for urban children in underserved neighborhoods of Boston.”

“I have been with this company for more than a decade and have seen it evolve every year,” said Shrestha. “CRG has promoted a culture of professional growth and workplace friendliness, both of which are hard to come by. Furthermore, CRG also gives back to the community in a multitude of ways such as our own nonprofit, City Kids, and other mediums. I look forward to working with my fellow board members to help City Kids grow and provide badly needed resources and support to help Boston children learn.”
