Representative McMurtry to Host Ice Cream Social for Seniors
Residents will also get the opportunity to be informed on legislation and get questions answered directly from Representative Paul McMurtry.
Representative Paul McMurtry along with his 2013 summer interns will be hosting a few ice cream socials for senior citizens from his District on Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013.
The social will take place at the Westwood Council on Aging, 60 Nahatan St. at 12 p.m.
The event will then continue with visits in Dedham to the community rooms at O’Neil Drive at 1 p.m., Parkway Court at 2 p.m., and Doggett Circle at 3 p.m. Senior residents can enjoy some complimentary ice cream while engaging in informal conversation.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for two generations to engage in conversation to share a few personal experiences with each other,” Representative Paul McMurtry said. “I look forward to enjoying some refreshing ice cream with all those who attend.”
Residents will also get the opportunity to be informed on legislation, current issues and have their questions answered directly from Representative McMurtry and the interns.
