Two swans were spotted off of Ames Street on Monday.
DEDHAM, MA — Two swans were spotted strolling in Dedham on Monday.
The swans were waddling in the snow along Ames Street when Animal Control Officers safely moved them to a better fitting location.
While swans are beautiful birds, Mass Wildlife reminds people that the best thing to do for wild animals is to leave them in the wild, and if you think they need help, to call animal control. According to Mass Audubon, in Massachusetts, Mute Swans are most prevalent in the southeast, although the large and aggressive waterfowl are in the process of expanding their range in the state.
