Many employers have questions about how to ensure compliance with the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) which became effective on April 1, 2020, and will remain in effect until December 31, 2020. On April 1, 2020, the U.S. Department of Labor (the DOL) issued Final Temporary Regulations providing interpretation and guidance for employers and their counsel on the FFCRA and its two primary elements, the Emergency Paid Sick Leave Act and the Emergency Family and Medical Leave Expansion Act.

This webinar features Dedham resident John Tocci, who manages the employment and litigation practice at Tocci & Lee, LLC. John will explain guidance and interpretation provided by the DOL to employers and employees and will address common questions, and questions posed by attendees. The webinar will also address issues relating to employee terminations, lay-offs and furloughs and the impact on unemployment benefits.
