Dover Farmers Market Coming This Weekend

After Dover town selectmen approved it on July 11, Grace Church will hold a farmer's market in September and October.

The chance for farmers in the Dover and Sherborn area to share their wares with the community starts this weekend.

On Sept. 7, Grace Church in Dover will play host to the farmers market, which was approved by the Dover Selectmen in July.  The town's first farmer's market will be in the grassy area by the back of Grace Church on 21 Centre St from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“Farmer’s markets are pretty popular, we have a lot of local farmers that operate under the radar,” Grace Church pastor Amy DiSanto said previously. “It will allow them to be more visible to sell their produce, and a chance to see their neighbors.”

The farmer’s market will be on Saturdays from 9-1 p.m. in September and October, and will also continue in the spring. Desanto said there would be plenty of parking for those interested in coming, and those who are interested in being vendors for the market should email farmers@dovergrace.org.
