Dover residents support Boston Arts Academy
Lisa and Andrew Sussman attended events that support the BAA Foundation which raises essential funds for Boston's only public arts school.
Dover residents Dr. Lisa Sussman and Dr. Andrew Sussman recently celebrated a multifaced partnership and $500,000 pledge to the Boston Arts Academy Foundation from the Red Sox Foundation and Live Nation to support Boston Arts Academy, the city's only public arts high school. Red Sox legend David Ortiz formally presented the BAA Foundation with the donation that supports its $30 million Building Our Future Campaign at Fenway Park on November 6.
The Boston Arts Academy Foundation also held an event at Emerson College's Paramount Center on November 19 hosted by Emerson President Lee Pelton, who also serves as chairman of the BAA Foundation board of directors and Building Our Future Campaign co-chair. The event included a fireside chat with Pelton and Bryan Rafanelli, founder and chief creative officer of Rafanelli Events. BAA alum and Emerson student Jonah Barricklo shared remarks about how his experiences at BAA helped shape his future – specifically receiving a full scholarship to Emerson.
The Sussmans currently serve on the Boston Arts Academy Foundation's board of directors and Building Our Future Campaign Cabinet.
