Dover-Sherborn To Open MIAA Football Playoffs Against Middleborough
The Raiders take on the Middleborough Sachems in the first round of the football tournament.
DOVER-SHERBORN, MA – Dover-Sherborn heads to the MIAA Football South Division 6 tournament, taking on Middleborough Oct. 27.
The Raiders, seeded fourth with a 4-3 record and 13.77 power rating, will kick off the tournament against the fifth-seeded Sachems, who actually enter the tournament higher record (5-2) but a lower power rating (13.71). Dover-Sherborn goes up against Middleborough Friday, Oct. 27 at 6 p.m. at home.
The winner will head to the semi-finals.

The MIAA switched to a playoff format in 2010. The state semi-finals are scheduled for the weekend of November 17 and 18, with state championship games scheduled for December 2 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.
