Emergency Room Reports Dog Biting Man on Upper Lip
The Dover Police Department provided the following information.

Friday, June 7
1:59 p.m: The Newton Wellesley Hospital emergency room called police to report a dog bite. The dog belongs to the hospitalized person and bit him on the upper lip. the dog was also up to date on all of its shots. The emergency room representative said it is mandatory the hospital call police to report the bite.Â
The emergency room representative called back later to report the hospitalized person was not bitten by his own dog and the dog actually belongs to a friend who lives on Tower Drive in Dover.Â

9:26 p.m.: The Fire Department called to report water coming into a house on Claybrook Road from the roof. An officer found a broken spout was leaking water into a window. The Fire Department pumped the water out to stop it from flowing into the basement.Â
