K9 Units Requested to Search for 'Contraband'

The Sherborn Police Department provided the following information. Patch prints all arrests. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, July 2
11:25 a.m.: Ashland police requested assistance with shutting down Metropolitan Avenue due to an ongoing incident in their town. 

Saturday, July 6
3:54 p.m.: Officers issued a criminal summons to a driver for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. 
4:24 p.m.: Officers requested a K9 from Holliston police, which was unavailable, to assist in a motor vehicle search. Sherborn officers searched the area for possible contraband, which was seen thrown out of the window prior to the motor vehicle stop.
