McCuts: What Will You Miss From the McDonald's Menu?
The fast food giant has ditched a number of sandwiches from its menu.

Don’t worry, the Big Mac and the Filet-O-Fish will still be on the value menu. But as far as the Quarter Pounder with cheese? McDonald’s has decided to keep only one of the four versions it has been offering.
It comes as part of an announcement from the fast food giant on Wednesday, breaking it to consumers that it would cut seven sandwiches from its menu, according to Business Insider. The restaurant had announced back in December its plans for the cuts.
The chain cut the mighty Deluxe Quarter Pounder burger, the honey mustard and chipotle barbecue snack wraps, and six of its chicken sandwiches.

McDonald’s said it was “simplifying its current menu,” paring, for instance, the choices down from a number of premium chicken sandwiches to one.
The Wall Street Journal reported that McDonald’s menu grew 42.4 percent in the past seven years, from 85 to 121 in 2007.

“Our intent is to have a cleaner menu board that is easier for customers to absorb,” McDonald’s said in its original announcement about its decision on the cuts.
There is no word on the return of the McRib, the McDLT or the McLean.
