Sharing the Joy of Dance!

Students from Erin's School of Dance in Dover brightened the day for some very special seniors in North Attleboro!

When asked if they would like to perform a recital "sneak preview" this spring at the Madonna Manor Nursing Home, students at Erin's School of Dance eagerly jumped at the opportunity! Erin's School of Dance has been a part of the Dover-Sherborn Community for more than 30 years! This dance school has a unique approach, and as one student put it "Here we are not only taught to dance, but we also learn to enjoy dance!" No wonder these beautiful dancers were so inspired! It's an almost indescribable feeling to share something that brings one so much joy!

So, on Sunday, April 29, a group of Miss Erin's dance students made the, not so short, trip to North Attleboro where they danced their hearts out for a lovely group of seniors. In this fast-paced world that we live in, where life at times seems to be moving faster than we may feel we can keep up, where social media has cancelled out a warm hug or a smile or a voice with expression, it's heartening to see that we can be brought back to completely being present in one another's lives. These students and their audience were equally blessed by each other's presence. There is nothing that can quite compare to the feeling one receives when brightening another's day!
